¡¡¡¡Xiangcheng Textile Co. Ltd. was founded in 1969 and it underwent restructuring in July 2001. now it is a private enterprise of stockholding system. The factory covers an area of 180,000 m2 and it has 120,000 spindles and 1565 employees. Its major products are nearly 30 specificaitons of pure cotton yarns in 3 categories, namely fine weaving, ordinary weaving and jet-loom weaving. The total assets is 290 million RMB Yuan. In 2006 its industrial output was 350 million RMB Yuan and the profit-and-tax reached 48 million RMB Yuan.
The company has won a lot of titles such as the national awards of ¡°May 1st Labor¡¯s Award¡±, ¡°Advance Unit Supporting Second Round of Development¡±, ¡°Advanced Unit of Safe Production¡±, awards in He¡¯nan province of ¡°Star Private Enterprise¡±, ¡°May 1st Labor¡¯s Award¡±, and ¡°Contract-observing and Faith-keeping Enterprise¡±. And for consecutive years it has been judged ¡°Advanced Unit with Conspicuous Profit and Constant Progress¡± in Zhoukou and Xiangcheng. The product was judged Famous Brand, Top-Quality Product, Consumers¡¯ Favorite Product and Best Seller in He¡¯nan province.
In recent years, Xiangcheng Textile Co. Ltd. has made progress with the time, taken courage to face challenges, and adhered to the quality-and-profit road. Through system restructure, management enhancement and technology innovation, our comprehensive strength increased rapidly, the quality and the economic performance improved quickly.
We adopt competition system in administration and have established recruitment system of competition. The flexible recruitment system and position allocation system have greatly improved our capacity and efficiency. In the past we have 600 workers for every 10000 spindles. However, now we only need 123 workers.
Recently we have invested nearly 130 million RMB Yuan in technology innovation. We conducted 4 sessions of technology innovation. 86% of our equipment has reached the nationwide advanced level, 46% reached the international advanced level. The enhancement of equipment performance has elevated our products from medium-and-low grade to high-and-medium grade.
We have adopted 5s management and learnt from the first-class enterprise in Chin. We held many helpful activities and set objectives to cut down the cost. Every year the standard is improving with lower cost and better management.
In quality management, we have held activities to strive to make the nationwide first-class products and in the near future to become a leading manufacturer in China. Since 1997 when we set up our quality-oriented road, we have set detailed objective for each year. Every year we made steady progress and quality has improved quickly. Currently, our performance satisfies 25% of the Uster report and part of our indexes meet 5% of Uster report. With constant upgrade of our products, the proportion of top-grade products has reached 70%.
In respective of sales, we set up sales bases in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Nanchang. Part of our products are sold to the US, Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. We keep a close eye on the market trend, is well informed and keep reasonable prices. With cash as payment, our distribution system is sound and guarantees maximum of profit.
Our development objective is to set our foot firmly on central China, take the leading the global market, and strive to be a first-class enterprise.
